Motor neuron diseases, commonly known as “gradual freezing”, refers to the gradual degeneration of motor neurons that cause muscle atrophy and weakness throughout the body. It can be divided into muscular atrophic spinal cord according to the degeneration site and the age at which it occurs. Sclerosis, primary lateral sclerosis, spinal muscular atrophy, progressive muscular dystrophy, and Kennedy\u2019s disease. Among them, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is the most common motor neuron disease in adults.<\/p>\n

Association purpose:
\nImprove patients’ medical care, quality of life, and life dignity.
\nPromote mutual support and encouragement between patients and their families, and strive for reasonable rights and interests.
\nImprove the public’s understanding and care of motor neuron diseases.<\/p>\n

Association vision:
\nContinue to promote the “humanized gradual freezing care center” to build a high-quality care environment for gradual freezing.
\nImplement the “Gradually Freezing People’s Medical Service Network” to help gradually freeze people to obtain local and immediate medical services.
\nPromote medical research on motor neuron diseases, so as to find a way to treat the disease as soon as possible.
\nPromote the research and development of technological aids, assist the people in the pursuit of barrier-free life, and create life value.<\/p>\n
